I'm looking for someone who could customize/modify a Vic soldier. I'd like to add a thumb-disc and a cut-out for the disc in the handle to a one handed slippy. Also a low carrying pocket clip. If anyone can do the work or let me know of someone who could, I'd appreciate it. I'm not ready to do the work yet, but in another 3 or 4 weeks would be my timeline. Thanks folks.

Several folks do good mods on SAKs, though I personally don't remember their names.

Mods need to move this one to Multi-Tools, and you'll get your answer.

That's a tough mod as you would have to mill and drill a hardened blade to add the thumbdisk and screw. Also the backspring is a bit strong for you to leverage open the main blade with a disk, not enough leverage.

You might want to look at some of the new Vic one handed knives with a clip.

How about drilling and tapping a pocket clip? Any ideas there? I can't walk away empty handed. :)

The pocket clip is easy, you can do that yourself if you have a drill press and tap.
