The wood scale on this Cudeman cracked, and replacing it is beyond me. Is there someone on here who could put some new scales on?

It can be repaired, but the repair will show.
I can rehandle it, but it would probably be cheaper if a knifemaker does it.

I do, but you would need to glue it, clamp it quickly, and spray it with accelerator.
Then, sand and match the existing finish.
I would try this first. It may look OK.

One thing though that few people know: the combination of super glue with baking powder produces a tiny whiff of invisible gas that has a tendency to settle on the first wet surface it encounters.
If this wet surface is your eyeball you might have a serious problem.

In short: if possible do everything outside, wear eye protection, and do not watch the process up close.

Super glue accelerator is a spray liquid that is sold in hobby shops. Baking soda will cause the glue to "erupt" as it quickly hardens-leaving a rough surface that is higher than the surrounding area.
The good spray accelerators don't do this.
