Picked up an interesting custom 110 at my knife club meeting tonight.
"EA" stamped on the tail of the lock bar in the recess.
Any help with who this would be?
Pictures Sunday....

I confess!!!!

It wasn't me.

The only "EA" I ever heard of is "European Arms".

I doubt they had anything to do with it.
They imported black powder rifles, shotguns, pistols, and revolvers from Italy and Spain, among other firearms, back in the 1970's and 1980's.
I don't remember them having anything to do with cutlery and swords, or even spears/ pikes/ halberds, battle axes, and spiked or ball maces.

JB hit it, yes the knife was customized by ARKSKNIVES. Did a bit of surfing using JB's information while sitting on the sofa this morning watching "In the Heat of the Night", one of my favorite shows. Really wild but I was able to find the very same knife listed on line, Amazon of all places, a stale listing from 2016. The listing seller was "Leather Blades". Definitely the same knife. The listing showed a COA from ARKSKNIVES dated 2010, something I did not receive. I did find a picture of another 110 knife by this customizer and it was stamped 'ARK' not 'EA' so I suppose both markings were used over time.

So.... a knife customized in 2010, sold on Amazon in 2016, purchased at an auction in St Louis Wednesday, then acquired by myself from that buyer Thursday. If they could only talk.....

Very cool ! The knife, and the research you did. I love knowing the history (as much as I can) of each knife I own. Great looking knife !

Nice sleuthing! You can contact Eric and ask for a new COA, can't wait to see it on the SPS.
