Who did desine BM Ares?

Thanks! I knew it! Kind of six sence, I bet. Just got one with D2 from New Gragham (last one sorry). Amaizing ordered it Tuesday, and have it today by USPS.
Perfect for me Axis+D2+G10+Elishewitz, only BC left!

Speed Safe also.

Thanks, Vassili.

All of that info is on the Benchmade website.
It will even tell which steel was used to make the knife blade. :p

2 Walking Man
Please, provide me a link then. Because I did check BMM websita and found that this model is discontinued.
I also checked benchmade catalog - no word about Alan there too (on page 13). And if you read my post you may see that already I mentioned D2 - this is steel my knife made from.
Thanks, Vassili.

BM and Allen E. parted ways, but when BM continued to produce his designs, they weren't marked with his name/insignia.

Yeah, Dano, but they don't even give him credit for the design on their website. That's a crime, isn't it.

The two of them parted ways in a bad way. I believe Alan wanted his name off their products. He's also not the only maker to have parted hard and had their name removed from their products.

I don't know about other BM product's
but it's good that they are at least discontuing them, rather than sell them without Alan's name.

They did for a while. And what about the 690 and 910? I have a 730s and 690, might get a Stryker in M2.

All Bm products have the designer names on them unless they are made by a designer that is no longer with the company IE Allen Elishewitz.

So the Stryker had it the Nimravus, the Ares, the Dark Star and the rest of his BM creations had his name on the blade.

Sorry Vassili,
I didn't realize the new ones didn't have his name on the blade.
Mine says Elishewitz design on the right side of the blade.
So my post was somewhat poking fun at you.
Subliminally means aquiring something into subconciuos knowledge without the consciuos minds awareness.

If you were able to intuit the knife was designed by Alan Elishwitz thats pretty good design awareness.

Ok, I did not know that his name was on the old knives.
I like Alan knives and I meat him in person on BAKCA show, but his own knive to expensive for me (this one too expensive too, but I just can not resist).

Thanks, Vassili.
