I just placed an order from badassknives.com
I believe they have the AR's I ordered a STRIDER model EB-LT
from him yesterday and should have it by Friday or Monday! I have owned a STRIDER model BT now for 3 yrs, they are all great knives!
The price was the best around. The service was excellent!

If you order from any of the Strider dealers, I'm sure that you'll do fine. I've ordered from Joe Estrada, Mike at Badassknives, T.A.D and a dealer in Colorado (can't remember the name). They've all been good.
Joe and Mike have spent a lot of time talking to me and answering my stupid newbie Strider questions. I've gotten a great education from them.
My favorite has to the TAD boys. (You know I gotta plug the locals
)
Josh, Patrick and Evan and a great bunch of guys. A lot of times I go into the store just to bug 'em and they seem to tolerate me. Also I get to see and feel all the Striders and all that cool gear they have in their shop. They've worked with me ( I can be a pain in the @ss sometimes) and treat me like a I've been their friend for years. I feel very comfortable spending my money there. That said, I also buy form other dealers (gotta spread the love - if you know what I mean)...

From Strider you can get choice of aluminum oxide blast finish, or the Tiger Stripe. Personally my BT model is plain and my new EB-LT is coming with the Tiger Strip finish. It reminds me of the Tiger Stripe Camo in Vietnam.
The AR Series is deffinatly more heavy duty than the Buck collaboration knife. Looking at the pic of the Kydex draw sheath Mick has I am seriously considering getting the AR also

Trader1 - you can get a choice of finishes like strider4112 says but I think you would wait longer for it. I think the AR's are going to go pretty fast so you might want to jump on one now.
