Who do you like for a regrind these days?

I'm in love with my Eklipse. Started it's life as a battle bronze/working finish bladed boi to which I added a matching TI scale and hardware... knowing I had a spot on Ray aka CapCityCreation's milling books. Had him frag mill the scale and then apply this OD green anodization.

I've got a great edge on it but honestly a regrind would be nice to thin it out... Who have you worked with recently who has done a great job thinning your blade without burning the steel or removing too much blade height (I don't think too much blade height should be removed if it's done well anyway, but I've learned to be specific with my expectations.)

I'm familiar with Krein's work and have owned a few GECs that he's reground. But same on my end - I don't think he's taking on orders.

I have Krein and REK regrinds. Every so often REK has slots open for a few regrinds.

Make sure that whoever you pick for regrinds - in particular for Magnacut - does them wet. If I understand Larrin's charts correctly, it's easy to destroy Magnacut HT.

Ray aka @cap_city_creations cooked it up. Every once in a while Hinderer will release some BPUs or something with a stout looking OD ano. I hadn't seen it before either, but I sent Ray some photos of those Hinderers I came across and he was able to achieve this color after the milling. In some lights it looks slightly more yellow/gold, it may have been a 2 step ano? Ray is pretty friendly, and if you reach out to him on Instagram, he'll chat knife mods with you. Watch for when he does a book spot lotto, too! He typically has 40 spots, and each spot is eligible for 2 knives if you win.
