... you think hawkbill or tanto? Who's doing the interesting stuff with these profiles? I think Reese Weiland is doing some really nice things w/ the hawkbill profile. And Ferret is doing some interesting work with modified tanto's. Who else is out there?

Hawkbill bring to mind the Szabo that's en route to me. For extremes in either style think Ryan.

Mayo has a pretty funky Tanto and make a heck of a hawkbill.
I have a fixed blade Hawkbill by Mike Irie which is excellent.
You could also check Elishewitz for the Tanto's and he's got his new E-Lock which sounds like it rocks.
Kansei Mitsuno makes some great looking small Hawkbills as well.
I could go on forever
I think the best place to see Hawkbills are at Bladeart, I am 99% sure that it's Larry's favorite blade style and he stocks as many as he can get...
