Who do you use for DLC coating?

should this go in a different section? like tinkering and maintenance? or custom work?

I'd be interested in knowing the same. anywhere from Texas to Wisconsin tho. i need to get a blade recoated eventually.

I know Josh at REK does ceracoat, but not DLC.
I recall there is a company that will do DLC, but there is a minimum size job they'll do.

may i ask why you want to DLC coat? its really not that useful unless you just dont want the blade to shine. iirc it doesnt really help with rust inhibiting, as pitting will probably still happen, but ive heard both ways of thinking. i just like the look on a few blades.

Right. Everyone I've made contact with that does DLC has a minimum order size and its always been way bigger than I'd need.

Lots if folks do Cerakote though. It's usually pretty reasonable and wears almost as well.

Call Chad Buie at Club Custom Guns.
IonBond and DLC are much tougher than paint like Ceracoat.

I'm almost off the ground with a DLC coating service, but not quite there yet, just researching and testing atm.

I will say that not all DLC is equal, some offers great corrosion protection.
