Hi guys, I just got my first Emerson last week, a Mini A-100. And unless the online retailer was wrong about having it in stock, I should be getting a full size A-100 this week. I've been in love with the blade/handle design for quite a while, but was not really in love with the chisel-grind secondary bevel. What made me pull the trigger was seeing these pics.

I'm still on the fence about the frame-lock conversion. As sexy looking as it is, I wanted a knife that I wouldn't have any reservations about using for any no-holds-barred task. Unfortunately, pumping $xxx into a full pimp conversion would sort of take this knife out of the use-category I want it in. It is so very very sexy though. Must.. not.. submit...

Okay, anyways, conversion or no, I do want to get my A-100('s) re-ground with something similar to that gorgeous Tom Krein re-grind. I love how he brought the flat grind up higher and enhanced the swedge. Unfortunately, he doesn't do those anymore. Can anyone suggest someone else who can do a comparable job? Thanks!

Thanks Lycosa. Would you recommend either one of them over the other? What do you think of Reese Weiland? Thanks!
