I messaged Richard a little bit back with Qs about his sharpening system. I guess I timed it right because within 5 minutes he gave me a call and talked for about an hour about knives and stuff. He sent me a bunch of useful info, too. Per his recommendation I bought a paper wheels system and have some knives screaming sharp (wowed my wife in the kitchen!). Still learning, but it's all thanks to him.
I do plan, in the future, to send some knives to him to work his magic. His thread is complete with nothing but ample high praise. Nice, honest, and really talented guy. I am guessing you won't be sorry. I loved his story about the guy that was mad that he made his knife toooo sharp. Heh.
