I have a chris reeves umnumzaan and I want to get it convexed because it seems to be the only kind of edge I can maintain. It just seems like especially for a beginner since a strop is kinda forgiving there's alot less chance to f up your knife. I want someone who can remove the least metal as possible and still give it a nice convex since it's such an expensive knife. The only catch is that I can't wait for a long turn around because I'm deploying within a few weeks. Any help or recomendations would be be very helpful thanks alot.

if you like i can take care of it for you, i can ship back same day or day after i get it if you include a note in the box reminding me that its a rush job.

on the other hand if you want you could just maintain it convex style, and over time the bevel will become convex.

It should come with a convex edge, it's not a heavy convex but the cutting edge is convexed.

I just sent you a Northstar that I've buggered up somehow; I'm in no partcular rush though.

Siguy has been recommended to me by a couple of folks here, does a great job from what I hear.

Siguy, I'll be PM'ing you in the near future, I've got a couple I'll probably send you soon for the convex treatment.

thx - cpr
