HI,
I have a BK12 and the sheath insert is causing me some problems. I'd like to see if the warranty covers the sheath but I don't know who to contact. Thanks for your help!

Ritter does. The "BK12" isn't really a Becker knife to be honest.

Whatever you find out, please update us here. I have a BK12 as well, and am curious what your results will be.

I honestly don't remember the style of sheath that came with the Perseverance.

Okay, now I see it. Original...

A good sheath, but I went with a Spec-Ops short...

It just clears the bottom Chicago screw...

But you do have to do a little molding for the thumb ramp...

a very little googling finds:

'''We warranty the RSK® Mk2 against breakage and we expect some will abuse the knife beyond any reasonable level and thereby manage to break it. Clearly we expect most of our customers to be upstanding and honest and to exercise common sense when using this tool, but regardless of why, if you break it, we'll replace it™.'''

'''RSK® Mk2 Break it, we'll replace itTM Warranty
The warranty on the Doug Ritter RSK® Mk2 couldn't be simpler: Break it, we'll replace itTM for the life of the knife or we'll refund the purchase price to the original purchaser, your choice. Rust, corrosion or discoloration of the 1095 steel and wear from use or sharpening and wear of the powdercoat finish are not warranted.

This warranty is transferable. In order to make a claim under the warranty, you MUST email or call KnifeWorks to get an RMA Number and complete our Warranty Form and return it with your knife to KnifeWorks. We assume no responsibility for the knife until it arrives at KnifeWorks. You should insure the knife for replacement value and package it carefully in a sturdy box with adequate packing material. Loss, damage or injury to anyone in transit is your responsibility.

The 1095 steel is not rust resistant, so take appropriate care of the blade, including the laser engraved portions and the threaded holes for the tapered plugs if the plugs are removed. We recommend a dry film rust inhibitor such as Sentry Solutions TUF-CLOTH or TUF-GLIDE. If you do not take precautions, the knife will rust. Rusting, corrosion and discoloration are NOT covered by the warranty.'''

there you go...
