Who EDC Busse knives, and HOW?

Hi, All....
I don't think it would cool with my employer to edc a fixed blade, except for MAYBE an assault shaker, and I don't think it's worth taking the risk.
I'm curious though, other than military people, who EDCs Busses? What do you use it for on a daily basis, and how is it possible that you are able to carry it?
Just wondering. Thanks.
 
INFI EDC blades for me are a switch up or combo of a Meaner Street in a hi-ride Leatherman sheath, an Assualt Shaker in a Leatherman Bad A.S.S. sheath and a Skelton Key in a Buy Brown sheath either around my neck or in my front pocket. Carrying a fixed blade simply isn't a problem here in GA. :thumbup:
 
I'm wide, loud, hairy and tattooed, nobody seems to notice a knife on my person.;) :D

I actually carry a Satin Jack TAC in the front pocket of my 501's if I carry while out and about. I'm not sure how possible or discreet this will be with my HH.:rolleyes:

Depending on the day and what I'm wearing, one of the following methods:

- Assault Shaker around my neck
- Heavy Duty in a Okuden sheath on my belt
- Meaner Street in Buy Brown sheath on my belt
- Badger Attack E in a On Scene or other kydex sheath on my belt
 
In rotation I carry an AS, either the dcbb in an ASSshaker or the Desert Shaker in a pocket clipped sheath. Heavy Duty in an original BADASS, and on occasion the Meaner Street in a high ride canted sheath. The fatty SHBA A2 occasionally rides with me in a high ride sheath, but its top heavy this way as I found out the hard way. :o Something a little lower ride will be in its future. The biggest Busse I can carry here in Texas is my BAe, but it might gather some unwanted attention. I would love to tote my F1 but my bro in law is a cop and would love to "confiscate" that one! :grumpy: ;)
 
I sometimes carry My ZTBM in a factory sheath. Right now it is in my Bag. I will be carrying my SJTac soon, in my Gator dangler from Leatherman.
I am waiting to get a sheath for my DABA, and when I get that back I can carry it. (it ate its way through the crappy sheath I was carrying it in)
Right now I am carrying a Cuda Maxx 7.0 and Spyderco Native. If I have any task too tough for those, my ZTBM is right at hand.

I might just carry my FBM when I get one. Just for the hell of it.;)

I lead expeditions into the darkest jungles of northern MN. . . well, not really.

When does the word "Need" ever enter into the equation?:D
Besides, Dundee used an aluminum bladed movie prop knife.;)
 
Skeleton Key in a BuyBrown sheath works for me and both of my now adult kids.

Youngest works in the D.A's office and only carries on weekends.

Daughter/Princess-inlaw works as a high school A.P English teacher and also only carries on weekends and weeks like this one(Spring Break) she edc's either a Skeleton Key or an Assault Shaker in a BuyBrown sheath.

Use pretty much the same as a pocket knife.

An old buddy of mine used to carry a Basic #3, till he lost it.

Straight Battle Mistress is normal EDC for when playing in the woods.

Balances either the High Power, or the Colt Combat Elite "Very" nicely ;)
 
I used to edc my Tanker A, but that HD carries so well, it has been moved up to first chair. The HD has a kydex sheath by BB and is always in my right front pocket.
 
Hi Santi! Good to see you back!!! :D:D The Basic 5 is a great all around user eh? And a hard one to get a hold of too.

Just got back from the post office with a new toy, an A2 Mean Street, I think I found another for the rotation. If I can ever get a sheath made for it that is! lol! :p

EDIT: we need to talk about that kydex thing bro :eek: you really need some leather in your diet! :D
 
Active Duty, IWB w/tecklock for now, until i get some leather... :thumbup:
 
I usually EDC my NO-e to work (I'm a custom boatbuilder). It's pretty much overkill and I get ribbed about it now and then, but I think it's just 'cause their jealous. :D I have to say, though, the NO-e is really heavy and I have to keep hiking up my pants. Maybe I should switch to a smaller Busse.
