By that I mean, who actually carries a Svord Peasant often or everyday.

I carried a Svord as my work knife for years. I was a machinist and a Svord Peasant is a very good work knife.

You really need a pouch of some sort to keep one upright in your pocket. I was on my feet much of the day and a Svord upright in a pocket was hardly noticable. I actually often back pocket carried in the pouch since sitting was always on a wooden stool or bench.

I made pouches out of old cell phone pouches, eyeglass holders, etc.. Here’s an old pic.

Even had a pouch sewn into a couple pairs of work pants.

‘Course, being a machinist, I had to make some metal slabs for the knife.

Doesn’t show, but the Chicago screws are not flush. The purty anodized metal available was too thin to counterbore and not have the screws “bottom out”.

So anyway, who carries a Svord Peasant on a regular basis?
Pouch carry of some sort?
Pocket carry?

I have never even seen one in person. What steel? The scales look good.

The blades are L7, a Swedish high carbon steel. I have a wood-handled mini, as well as one of Dave’s nice metal-handled knives that came to me in one of the Mr. Knife GAWs. Originally, I bought wood ones in both sizes, but it didn’t take me too long to move the big one along to my son. Even the Minis are a little bigger than what I usually carry.

I carry them, but not too often.

I got the small one with plastic scales. I ruined the handles trying to mod them so I’m planning to make scales some time in this summer. Great knife and I could even consider the stock knife safe to carry without pouch. I didn’t carry mine that much because I feel that the lever is too long for daily carry. Makes a nice knife for outdoors or testisatchel.
Great looking scales too!

I just sent you a profile post.

I have also never owned a Svord knife. I was never a fan of the long knife tang (is that the right word?) that sticks out when the knife is closed. Friction folders just aren't my thing.

Which means I have never owned a Higonokami either. Never owned a Opinel either.

Those metal scales do look nice.

I have a couple. They come VERY sharp, but ultimately, both the regular and mini are just too fat dimensionally to really fit into my EDC needs, so they remain at home. I've used the larger size on camping trips in the past, where it does perfectly fine.

I have one but I don't edc it really. I have carrying the my fixed blade version. CKC hiker.

I used to carry one regularly, the mini, but haven’t for a couple years.

I carry Peasant time to time
Very nice and good handling knife.
Fit thin, narrow pocket in my pants perfectly
Some yellow pepper :^D
