Who Else Has a P32 Living in Their Pocket?

I carried one for about 6 months. It shot great and worked fine. I put about 600 rounds through it.

One day I had it in my pocket and I rubbed my thumb on the back of the slide while pushing the hoster deeper into my pocket before sitting down. I noticed that the hammer was moving up and down. Apparently the loop of the mainspring that the hammer attaches to broke off while it was sitting in my pocket. I know that it did not break the last time that I shot it because I cleaned and checked it before loading it and putting it in my pocket holster.

I called Keltec and they offered to repair it if I paid postage to send it back to them (which would have cost me $25-30 Fed Ex). They would not just send me the spring. I got so disgusted with it that I just put it back in its box on a shelf in my closet (where it is still sitting).

I went back to using either one of my tiny Berrettas or my S&W 642 as a pocket gun.

I have one and like it. Mine has been 100% reliable with Dynamit-Nobel FMJ ammo.

I'm a revolver person myself, but I don't have the fundage for one of the new scandium j-frames and I can't seem to get comfortable concealing my steel S&W 36 in a belt holster.

I had a P-32 and loved it. It carried great, shot great.... but one day it just quit working. I have since gotten a North American Arms Guardian .380 (a little heavy at 19 OZ) but it works and shoots great.

I have recently heard that KelTec has really upgraded their quality control and that the recently made guns are A-1.

I've carried mine before but felt naked without my Glock 29.:)

If I were going to switch to a mouse gun again it would be one of the S&W Scandium .357 Magnums. A few more ounces in your pocket but 3 times the energy.:)

carry mine while biking, and sometimes my wife carries it when the SIG P225 9MM/colt DS 38special/walther PPK 32 are too big, and she is carrying a tiny purse.

also carry my P32 to back up my kahr P9, occasionally.

an excellent little pistol imho, have shot about 300 rounds thru mine (ball/RBCD JSP/glaser/w-w silvertip/speer gold dot, w/nary a problem, no jams at all. got my bud to install a big dot sight like on the front of a shotgun, red in color, to act as a front sight, and put on the pocket clip thing, other than that its stock. also did the "fluff and buff" like the KTOG sight reccomends, usually carry it in a desantis pocket holster, looks like a wallet, a really nice little gun, accurate enough too, the dot i put on helps, not the greatest calibre, but much better (and smaller and lighter) than my old raven 25 i used for the same thing, also much higher $$ lol. and it holds oner less round than a PPK, in a MUCH smaller package.

i thought it would be marginally reliable when i got it, i was wrong, and also shocked the first day i put 150 rounds thru it w/out a bobble, wow, more than i had hoped for when i bought it.
