( that delrin they use gets old and will easily brake if dropped )
I only have the one as i needed it to replace the one missing from my dads old hatchet, but I absolutely love them and would probably collect them if I had a need for more ( they have little value other than use and I don't want any I won't use )
They're not a beefy tank of a knife but they're solid enough and the steel is great. They're also a cheap way ( you just have to look ) to get a cowboy style belt knife that's not made in China or Pakistan.
If anyone else has one I love to see it, and if it's rusting away in an old tackle box as many are I'd suggest pulling it out and making good use of it😉

I have two Imperials; one a simple hunter, the other a scaler back hunter for fishing. Both have the old, old grooved plastic handles. Have had them since I was a child (a long, long time ago). Also have a Craftsman (Imperial or Camillus made) hunter with leather ring handle about 50 years old. None were "high class" back then, but they served me well - well enough to keep them as memories of my much younger years.

The black delrin on mine broke recently when I dropped it so I replaced them with wood. My dads hatchet had some sort of hollow black plastic scales with structural ribs inside ( they broke on me when I was a kid ) while this knife which is much older had solid black delrin. The sheath for this knife is also dried and petrified from age. I think this one was a lucky buy as it seemed to have been used very little while most I see have been over sharpened.

BTW , got any pictures ?

(mine has Imperial tang stamp - just got it out of the old knife box and checked; I remembered it as a Craftsman - must be getting a bit absent minded or senile :-)

Ah, memories of childhood.

I've seen those stacked leather imperialsand I like them , I hope to find one at a yard sale...ect some day.
It's cool that you got the H6 hunting knife and the H7 with the fish scaler as a kid, most would've only gotten one or the other.
I wish I was able to get my dads original knife with the snaps on the sheath to attach to the hatchet sheath, but the sheaths are poor anyways.
