2006 FX35 AWD drive here...

The photo below was taken in the eastern part of Wyoming in June of last year:

because of the Peugeot connection, the French Govt. makes roughly 5% on Nissan/Infiniti sales... I will not own one for this reason...

Funny that you posted that. A buddy that is a mechanic is trying to sell me one. I may hold out for a Honda; though that is a nice car.

I just find that Honda is one car I just can not kill.;)

No kidding. My 1994 Honda Civic DX has over 235,000 miles, and is still going strong. Until I bought the INFIniti FX35 in March of last year, I was using that Honda for my long-distance drives, such as to South Dakota. I gave the Honda to our oldest son, who started college last year. When driving through the mountains, in Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming, the FX35 is a much better performer than the Civic, which did a bit of straining, especially when I lose momentum due to truck drivers trying to pass one another on steep inclines, and decide to use the left lane for that purpose.

At least, with the FX35 I can now preempt some of that truck driver annoyance through the careful and judicious use of 275hp acceleration.:thumbup::thumbup:

I have a 1989 Accord with about 190,000 miles on it. A guy that joined my bike club is a Honda mechanic and a very good one. The car runs better since he has been working on it than when it had 40,000 miles on it. :D

But all my friends give me grief for not buying something like a BMW. I do have a second low mileage car for long trips, so they call the Honda my rain car. (Racing cyclists always keep "the old rain bike" to ride when it is wet.)

I still commute with that Honda when I need too commute and drives better than my sister’s Lexus and Volvo. However, you do need to make an appointment with it to accelerate. :o
