Who Else Likes the Sand Blasted Handles Better than the Glass Blasted Ones

Got my glass blasted Sebenza 31 about 2 weeks ago.
And while it looks great, and shows only the slightest markings from coming into contact with hard things, I'm really not a fan of it.
The scales are just too slippery.
Whenever I send it in for a spa treatment, I'm gonna ask that the slabs be sand blasted.
I much prefer the feel!
YMMV!

That’s good to know, because I am on the hunt for a glass blasted small Sebenza. I have a large that’s sandblasted, which I like just fine, but I’m curious to try glass blasted.

Question, if you don’t mind: Is it slippery to the point where you worry that it might slide out of your pocket? That would really bug me.

I have been progressively getting all of mine glass blasted. I've not had a single issue with pocket retention as a result.

Nope, just feels slick in the hand.
However, the shape of the slabs makes the knife really secure.
I have very dry skin so anything I can do to get a better tactile feel is a high priority to me.

Got it. Thanks for the info!

I don't like the appearance. I've had other knives with a similar finish and they did feel a little slick. I'm just so used to the sandblasted finish that I have no interest in paying more for it.
