I'm curious to know how many people ride motorcycles on the forum. Please post if you do...

My curiousity was spawned by desmobob who rides a Ducati I presume. I have to admit I've been curious to know what the average age is on the forum to...

I'm 22 years old, and have been riding for about 4 years with about 9000 miles of experience. I ride a Yamaha YZF-R6 (or just, R6) streetbike. I love it, and I just put new tires on it and an true HID headlight modification which I would recommend to all who ride.

If you ride, tell us your age, what you ride obviously, where you ride (and where you live) and how long you've been riding. Also, a favorite memory...

For all who ride...
Ryan

The memories that I will hold dear are the ones riding with my dad on his new 2005 Harley Road King Classic, and riding his 1967 Triumph Bonneville TT. I've seen pride in his eyes twice...

When I got a bike and when I joined the Army...

Keep your rubber on the road...

Been riding for a decade or so up here in Canada. Yes, there are times of year when there's no snow on the roads ;)

In fact, it's close to 10 p.m. right now, still daylight and 30 degree's celsius outside.

Currently I like scaring myself on a 04 Yamaha V-Max, flat black with silver stripes.

As for a good memory, any full-throttle run through the gears that doesn't get the attention of the local LEO's :)

Stay safe

I ride a Honda Shadow Spirit 1100. Before that it was a Honda Magna 750, almost as fast as the V-Max ;)

I love riding along a river, watching the road and the water.

Ride safe,
Julian

First off, I'm a little disappointed Cliff moved my thread. Not as many people will see it in here and it was meant as a, "as many people as possible" thread.

Anywho... I went 160 the other day after getting my new tires. It... was amazing! I won't do it again though. After awhile, God won't let me get by with it, lol.

Thanks for posting guys... pagophile, isn't 30 degrees Celsius hot?

Well, I ride motorcycles, or I should say can ride motorcycles, or should say have ridden motorcycles, or should say have owned and ridden motorcycles. If I owned one now I'd ride it, or actually if someone else owned one and would let me ride it I would ride it, or actually if I could sneak someone's out and ride it I wouldn't cause I aint a thief. Oh yeah, I aint got a motorcycle right now but I have owned em and rid em in the past and hope to own more and ride em in the future. Thanks for bringin this subject up! :D

I moved your thread. Do not think you can post whatever you want wherever you want. We have rules regarding what gets posted in certain forums. Your choice to post it in the Blade Discussion Forum was a poor one. Your thread will get plenty of exposure in Gadgets & Gear. Whether people want to respond is up to them.

I have been riding since I left school about 42 years ago ,i have owned quite a few in that time ,at the moment I ride a 1993 Suzuki VX 800 that looks as though it just came out of the box , I also have two more 1990 ones pulled apart for spares and I hope to keep this one running untill I can`t ride any more. I am rebuilding a small 1970 Suzuki A100/2 .

Another geriatric rider here. :)
Y2K Kawasaki W650 twin. My 20th bike over 35 years of riding, and nearly all either British or Japanese makes, both road bikes and off roaders. I owned one HD (XLCH) back in the late 70's and the horrible thing turned me off Harleys forever.
It was made when AMF owned HD and nearly sent them broke.
Before the rocks start flying, Harleys are a top quality product these days, just not my thing anymore.

HD 01 Electra Glide Police model, highly modified by yours truly. Now it will truly catch most vehicles on the road. keepem sharp

I have an '04 HD Dyna Super Glide Sport. It is has a custom paint job, done at the Sturgis Rally, just before I moved out to MA. It is black, with custom mixed green House of Kolor green flames; they start off dark, and fade to light. I have black White Brother's pipes on it. I road in South Dakota on a permit, but have been afraid to get license here. And then I had a medical condition, where I couldn't do that. Perhaps next summer I will get my license, so I CAN ride my bike.

I ride a 2002 Suzuki Marauder 800, I repainted it gunmetal blue, Vance Hines pipe(baffles out), saddlebags, cobra seat, other ups.

I also ride a Suzuki V-strom 650 2004.

I am 23 and I have been riding since I was a about 8(dirtbikes). I ride her in MD, KY, PA, WV, VA since I ride my cruiser on most long trips I dont take super windy roads, I usually hit those on the V up in Northern PA during the summer.

As many people as possible is a spammer's goal. You won't last long here with that attitude. The right idea is to reach the people who are interested. That's why we have different forums, for different interests.

Yeap, it's plenty hot 30 C = 86 F

I bought a '04 Triumph Bonneville last week from a fella in Nashville .
I had been looking since I sold my last bike, a Ural.[Russian copy of a 60's era BMW] I have been riding for 7 years, no real long trips , mainly commuting to work and back. That may change with this new bike. I knew that my old bike was a tractor, but wow is the new bike fun.

MZ Baghira 660 Streetmoto 2006, Kawasaki KDX 200 2005, Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTS-i 2006, and a project BMW R100GS 1988. This is after a return to riding about 4 years ago after...decades of not riding.

Cougar Allen,

My apologies for the accusation and assumption of my thread placement. Though, I do not regret the, "as many people as possible" approach, as that is the nature of my question. I am truly interested in how many people ride because I'm passionate not only about riding. I am not a spammer, and that attitude is not in my resume of characteristics... sorry once again though.

Ken C.,

Again, sorry for putting in the general blade discussion...

1997 Moto Guzzi California (cruiser model). It's a wonderful Italian thing. 1100cc's of fuel injected bliss.
BTW, Tinbasher, I really like your Suzu. Nice looking bike.
