I'm wondering because the site said the nylon sheath was made in the USA and the Chairman series 110 (one of them) says the same thing.

Are the sheaths now made in the USA? I know that the ones that come with the Buck Lites are made in China.

The site is wrong.

Made in China, says mine.

Seems like a right good sheath, though.

:)

Sorry Dave, mine is packed up to move or I would check it.

Are any Buck sheaths made in the US now? I thought I saw one marked that way recently but can't swear to it.

I don't know. I have quite a few old fabric sheaths that say made in the USA and I know alot of leather ones where made here. I haven't seen any recent ones though and was wondering because of what the web site says.

"One of the most famous knives in the world, Buck's classic 110 Folding Hunter is featured as part of our Chairman Series knives. Our Chairman knives are endorsed with our Chairman, Chuck Buck's signature on the handle as a testament to the quality of these knives. With all the durable features of the popular 110, this knife is embellished with a rich Cherry Dymondwood® handle, nickel silver bolsters and the Buck anvil medallion. Carried easily in a USA made nylon sheath, this knife is great for daily tasks. Built to hold up in extreme conditions, but elegant enough to be a collector's item, you will find that you love this knife."
