'fess up. we won't hunt you down, really,we won't watch your mailbox or nothin' ;) there's a few left it looks like so hurry up! and when you get'em post pics please! i noticed they listed it as a conventional v-grind. surprise! i checked and the originals were chisel ground. thoughts? anyone not get one because of that, or pull the trigger because that's what they liked? talk-people-talk!(never used so many exclamation points in one post before)

Are you sure the past productions are chisel? I thought the chisel zeros are only in their customs.

Original ones that are production style are chisel like a Bulldog or SOCFK-B. The customs are zero groud chisel blades. This current run of 30 are v-grind like the CQC-7V.

sorry i suppose i wasn't specific enough in the title,my mistake. i was referring to the limited run of tanto's that came out last night on the eki website. i was in fact talking (don't know what "sd" means) about the original description,as listed on the edc knives website and also the photos, both of which appear to be ground in what is called immediately above the "production style". had i mean't zero ground as in the customs i would have described it thusly. i mean/meant no offense to anyone ,i simply re-read the original rep thread and got a little excited to know more. i appreciate the info above ,but what i wondered about was the choice to go with the v-grind. it seemed to be at odds with the original, which i thought this blade would entirely reflect. however it does dawn on me that perhaps the original was v-grind as well. anyone have/had one? i'd be curious for my own sake to know.

I was hoping that was a mistake on the site.
