Who got that CQC5?

Alright. Who was the lucky purchaser who beat me to the CQC5 at Triple Aught by 5 minutes? Congratulations to ya!

My only question here is: How did this knife get sold to a dealer this weekend rather than going to a customer who has had this knife on order for the past several years? Like I said earlier on the CQC6 post. "Something is rotten in Denmark"
 
I too would like to know what is going on.
When was the last time anyone here saw a dealer that has had so many new customs.
What did it sell for anyhow ?

I was the one who got the 5. I knew that it would not last long if I did not pick it up. I just happen to see Patrick's post in the Dealers forum and jumped on it. It have only see a limited number of 5's, so that is why I bought it. If it had been anything else, I would have passed (execpt a Phaser). I was also wondering why about all of the knives TAD has had recently, but I do know that he has been getting some from private collectors (like the viper, because it is a halfmoon).
Also the price was 1160 because of the discount for using paypal.

Would I be upsetting anyone if I said I had just contacted Les and brought (purely by extreme chance) a CQC5 that had only just been sold to him ?

Well, I'm happy anyway. Now my CQC6 has a friend !

No, you would not be upsetting anyone, as I did not get that knife.

However, some may be upset as it appears that a Rogue Warrior Fixed blade will be headed my way soon.

Yes, a "usual suspect" has said it he will take it.

For those of you who were interested in the Damascus CQC6 that was mentioned on the incoming portion of my web site. It, would appear that it will be headed to the UK. Derek, it seems you have a fellow collector over there.

Also, the CQC8 has been sold.

What's going on here???? I leave town for a couple of days & all of a sudden there's all of these CQC5's floating around.

I've been looking for this friggin knife for a long time. Anyone selling?? I had to ask
