Since that is now my knife (

), I will whet the appetites even more, quote myself, and re-post an impromptu review I did in another thread a couple of weeks ago:
"You've got your eye on a great knife.
I finally really used mine this past weekend. Prior to that, it was just a few fun little sessions in the kitchen. But this past weekend I was backpacking in the Glass Mountain Range in Mono County (CA), and took it, and used it on food, for various minor utility cuts, and to make some odd, useless, but fun little wood sculptures out of very dry lodgepole pine wood while we sat around camp Saturday night.
Wonderful knife. Great control and capable of surprisingly fine work while also being able to do fairly substantial work. For my medium-sizeish hand, it fits very nicely. It's fairly light for its size too, which matters a lot to me. My companions were all quite impressed that what to their eyes looked like a really burly knife (their reference for a good knife is a simple SAK) could produce such controlled, detailed carving. One guy was also impressed that it shaved the hair off his arm after I was done for the evening.
Sorry about a lack of pictures. Great knife; thanks Andy!"
