Who has the best angle clamps in the business?

Depends on your requirements (as in size of blade, angles required, size, etc.)

I had a Lansky and (although it is grand for medium to larger knives), it was not well suited for small angles on small blades because the stone scrapes the clamp. I'm guessing the same would apply to the DMT aligner.

I like the Razor Edge clamps (cub and regular) because they accomodate just about any size blade AND allow me to use my (favorite) benchstones with them.

So, the answer to your question is the dreaded "it depends..."

With the Razor Edge system, do you move the stone (hone) or the knife when sharpening?

Thanks again.

Will either of the two clamp systems work with double-edged knives? Are there other clamp/guide systems to consider?
Does the RazorEdge clamp grind against the stone?

If someone has some good pix, it would help me a lot (the RazorEdge website has small pics).

Thanks.

How about an Edge Pro?

From the Edge Pro website....

You will find, if you get a Edge Pro, that the clamp is the problem with all the other systems. It severely limits the size and shape of the knives you can sharpen. You can't do serrated knives, double edges, very large or small blades, flexible knives, and any knife that does not have a flat surface for the clamp. These systems also limit the angles you can sharpen at. The Edge Pro Systems have infinity variable angles ( Apex 10 to 37 degrees and Pro. 6 to 35 degrees. This means you can set the machine to exactly match the angle on any knife.

The original question specifically asked about angle clamps. The E/P is not a clamp system, BUT it is (by most folks' standards and mine for what that's worth) probably the "best in the business".

One odd thing about my lansky is that i can sharpen my Tracker easily but not my kabar. The clamp can't hold the kabar blade very well.

Maybe he didn't know there is an alternative. He asked about "double edged" knives... which the Edge Pro quote specifically addressed. The same quote also addressed clamps.
