Who here collects Pink Knives?

OK, its not for me,:rolleyes: but I do buy them for the women in my family.:D I try to buy only USA made ones. The following are the ones that I have gotten for the three women in my life.

Buck 286 PINK Mossy Oak Bantum

Here you go, you need to watch for this one floating on the bay. It WILL take some watching. Buck Clippers from the 80's, a 305 with a scissors replacing the secondary blade and the addition of spot for a small key ring attachment. The purple is one of the rarest, I have seen several pinks over the years. But, the very last issued reds and blacks had Wenger scissors replacing the standard versions and they worked lots better. Those are really rough to find and I don't even have a black one.

Now that you are a "Lifer" you need go to the website and read all the histories and start reading all the old newsletters. You will be surprised at the info you will discover.

I don't collect them, but I just bought a KaBar Dozier Folding Hunter in both coyote brown and foliage green. I suspect that in a moment of weakness I will decide to get the other colors (see: I'm collecting Doziers, not pink knives!): blaze orange, black, and ... I guess ... pink, just to have them all.
 
I don't "collect" them either, but I do have some. In fact, this reminded me that I needed to order a couple more of the pink camo 286's. Those seem to be a big hit with both guys and gals. I had three, but they've all been given away to friends, one a gal and the other two to guys that wanted one. I also like the large Bucklite Max B&C model. It's supposed to be orange I guess but it's sure more pink than orange. I carry that one some and a guy cousin I gave one too a couple of years ago carries his constantly.

That pink one would fit in with my dau., collection:thumbup: She is not a big knife person, but does like quality Pink ones if I get them as a XMAS gift. My small way of getting her into having nice knives:D

Where is the KaBar Pink Dozier Folding Hunter made?

Of the list that I have above the Native is by far the highest quality. The Buck being second favorite with that mossy pink. They are priced that way also. The Native is made in Colorado and is the best of the pink colors (that from a guy who really does not like this color pink in general).:rolleyes: The last three are just OK.
 
I have been accumalating pink knives.
Just bought a half-dozen Benchmade minigriptillians on sale.
The women in my life took half of them away.
Whats not to like pink, butterflies, and American made.

While looking through the EDC tin, found a pink Buck Impulse #292 made in USA.
Also a pink Buck Canoe made offshore.
Now I gotta go shop for a pink Bantam, plus the pink Realtree Buck hat.
Reading these threads helps me know what is available
