Dawkind is right. Knifezilla is some of the best customer service around... IMHO.

Hi everyone. First timer here.

I just received my BM42 from Knifezilla. Took just under a month for it to get to me, but that's Knifezilla's fault. Everyone says that Josh is great to work with and I don't doubt that, but I sent him 3 emails after waiting about 25 days and the only reply he sent back was , "One moment please"

I guess I was just getting antsy and wanted someone to hold my hands

Dispite that, I would have no problems ordering from him again.

Btw, mine didn't arrive with the sheath or box, not that I'll need them. My next purchase is one or two of Clay's concealex sheaths.

I meant it's not Knifezilla's fault.

On a completely different note, how do I edit my post?

I think it was necessary that the box and sheath was omitted from my package. IMO, this made it less likely the 42 would be scrutinized before it reached me. I think you'll understand when you get your knife. I don't want to get into too much detail here.

Anyway, I don't know about the box, but the I've heard the sheath was too small to fit the 42 anyway. For me, getting the box and sheath wasn't important, one way or the other.

was your knife scratched or anything?

the thing that pisses me off is that why not just leave them in the box and send them.. its just so much nicer to know that it hasent been played with already, and for the sheath it fits fine..

what im saying is why would he take the time to take each knife when he could just put in the hole box in the shipment..

all i really want is the knife and the sheath.. i can do fine without the box

You don't need to be cheezed that the knife was sent separately from the box and sheath. Like I said before, when you receive it, you'll understand.

My knife wasn't used when I got it. The only scratches on it were the ones I made flipping it. ;) Also, one handle was too tight to be flipped properly. A trip to the hardware store to get a Torx driver (#8 is the size you want) and some lubricant fixed that right up.

Slayerized, I'm assuming Josh shipped the knife seperately from the box to minimize the profile, as I understand Balis are illegal and can't be shipped to Canada. I've had numerous satisfactory dealings with the honorable Mr. Burbank, and intend to have more.
