If you do, then I have your knife! Send me a PM. OH

I see it appears to have the characteristic crack at the lanyard hole flaw. A never ending testament to Cammilus quality.

I couldn't resist looking up the possible acronyms for this...

Married White Woman, that might slim down the odds a bit :D

You don't like the quality of Camillus knives ?

This Camillus pattern is notorius for developing cracks around the lanyard hole even as a safe queen. Other Camillus Remington patterns have the same flaw as well as cracking around the spring pin during storage. Delrin was the worst material for this flaw. Many collectors bought lots af Camillus Remingtons and kept them as safe queens, only to find cracks. It was/is not an isolated issue.

I have a Camillus Remington banana trapper. I do use it and find it a fine knife...except for the cracked delrin scale at the spring pin. Wasn't there when I bought it but it hasn't effected functionality. Camillus has a good heat treat and edge on many of their 440A blades. Butthey aren't good knives for picky people

As collectibles, they don't hold value. My trapper could be had new for $40, 65 & $100 at a local gun show in the recent past. I mentioned that to the guy selling at $100. He laughed and said it was priced for "trade" and he didn't expect to get it. He then invited me to make an offer, but he wasn't going to sell it for 40 :)

I’ve made the same observation as Brownshoe over the years - most of these Camillus / Remington knives have cracked Delrin around the lanyard holes. THis particular knife was made in 1984 and engraved with someone’s initials, they obviously never used it - I bought it NIB with the cracks in the Delrin. They are good knives, they simply have that flaw. I thought I’d have some fun with the initials on the knife, but we’ll just let this end now as no one here has these initials. OH
