Who is allowed to host a Becker group buy?

The only stuff that gets done in "group buys" are random pieces of gear that Beckerheads want to put the logo on. The last two were growlers, and bandannas. Ka-Bar has only done one group buy knife, and that was a camillus bk7 because they acquired a number of blanks from them after the Ka-Bar/Becker deal. Unlikely to see any other knives in that manner. Bottom line is you need to be a Beckerhead first.

There are several vendors who actively support Bladeforums and they can be found here - http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1089879-Paid-Dealer-Members-List-(Updated-9-3-14)

Of those, there are a very special few of those who actively participate in the BK&T subforum. Great ppl, competitive prices, and fantastic customer service! And that's why I prefer to buy from them whenever possible.

So, if you're talking about organizing a knife buy from an non-supporting vendor, it's most probably against the 'No Deal Spotting' rule

Im an authorised reseller so i was curious if in the future it would be possible to pass along the savings and hook some people up. Im new to the knife world as I usually do gun parts and accessories and have done group buys on other forums just didn't know what the requirements are here. So far this forum is full of a bunch of great people very friendly and helpful. I guess I will have to become a supporting vendor 1st and see what that entails. Thanks for the info guys.

For non-knife items, I'm not sure. I'd send a PM or Email to Bladite to make sure you get setup right.

I have to be a supporting dealer as far as I can tell from reading the rules. Thanks everyone for your input

Yes, you would need a dealer membership in order to sell here. Any sales will need to be done in the Exchange, and advertising for sales is going to be very limited in the open forums.

Usually, our dealers get some room but just don't abuse it.......

It's worth it, J.
