I don't mind starting it off as I have a large Sebenza 21 with African Blackwood coming to me on 12/22, just in time for Christmas! I have been awfully good this year
It has been awhile since I've edc'ed a Sebenza bu I'm starting to appreciate the smaller knives again, and yes I do consider the large Sebbie as a small knife
especially when you compare it to the 4" and over blades I normally carry! In recent months I've decided to get a few smaller folders. So far I have picked up a Boker Titan Defender (3.5" blade), a Fallkniven PXL (3.4" blade), and now the CRK Sebenza (3.6" blade). For January I may go with the Umnumzaan.
I've had a couple Sebenza's in the past and also one of the first Umnumzaans to come out, August/September 2008. Of the Sebbies I've had I like the wood inlays the best. Crk stabilizes their woods and I've found that edc'ing one does not cause any problems to the wood. I also love the look of wood and the fact that it gives the handles a tad more width for gripping. I got rid of the Umnumzaan for some reason I can't even remember now!
I would like to see a wood inlaid Umnumzaan though!
So anyway, who has a Sebenza coming their way for the month of December?
