who wants to swing up into Canada on the way. its fun and the border is easy to cross. :)

i lived in houston/austin for many years and had a few friends that were less than scrupulous...... i went to visit one on the ,,,,,, um,,,,,,, alice???? unit?? pretty scary

Ellis Unit probably.

Half of the Huntsville population works as guards in there... The other half is split between Walmart and Sam Houston State University. It's a pretty interesting mix of cultures around here - to say the least.
 
I already thought about that...

But you're leaving Thursday morning, I have to work until abot 9pm Thursday night :grumpy: I thought about pulling an all-nighter, but I'm afraid I'd end up 1 hour too late to the table with all the good stuff gone.

I think I'm just going to have to bank on Blade. Thanks for the offer though :thumbup:
 
I would like to go sometime. Based on what I have read, it seems you would have to get there on Thursday, to camp on the grounds overnight, to have any chance of scoring off the Busse table at 9:00am Friday. Any Creek veterans care to comment on my assumptions?

The now-established sneaky HOG trick is to find out which hotel Garth is staying in, and corner him in the lobby to get the early shot at the best stuff. :cool: :D
 
I'm over 6 hours away, if I can get a friend to go I may go get a room Friday.

Dang, I feel crazy thinking about driving over 6 hours to buy a knife. I do need to shoot a full auto though, never have.

I have a dream that is almost as realistic as me getting to Knob Creek or Blade.
It is a wonderful dream, where I find the Double Cut ticket in a package from the Busse Company Store. I have finally won the opportunity to visit "Jerry and the INFI factory"! It is so beautiful there, and the INFIloompahs sing and dance while grinding as rivers of JWB flow through orchards of INFInitrees, with sagging branches of beautiful Busse blades. I even get to hold the "Everlasting Natural Outlaw" in this dream, but as it fades, and I start to wake, I see a mustachioed fella and a rat-like gentleman arguing suspiciously over a mound of folders. I don't want to wake up.

Am I INFIcted or what?:D

Anyhow, hope all that's going have a great time. Please take lots of pictures.:thumbup:
