Fellow members of the Gunting Cult beware.....time is running out for the Gunting Seminar in Miami Beach March 3 & 4, 2001. I have lots of people pre-registered already. We will truly having a blast.

For those of you who may be out of the loop, Miami Beach Martial Arts is sponsoring Bram Frank and the Gunting for a two day seminar. Pre-registration fees were $120.00, $150.00 at the door. E-mail me for more info. Bram will be teaching an intense two days seminar featuring many Gunting techniques, both open and closed. We will also be offering Handcuffing techniques with the Gunting for all of you LEO's out there.

I know it is reallly, really cold up there in the rest of the U.S. of A, but down here in Miami Beach, well.....it's like living in a post card. Jealous? Well, if you are COME TO THE SEMINAR

Sounds like a blast, and while Vancouver is sunny, it definitely is a tad cooler than Miami. (It will be nicer in April)

Wish I could come visit. Boss won't let me borrow the company jet.

Hey guys....Needless to say, you will all have a blast at our "little" Gunting Seminar. Bram's "Core" group, including myself have been working on many techniques that we have not shown the public yet....you guys are really going to enjoy this....You know I love coming up with new ways to torture people with my Gunting.LOL

The left coast is close to 2500 miles from here. Very much within her range. As a matter of fact I have her in training for a big trek in late August.

On this trek we will cover the four corners of the US, Alaska & some of Canada. Estimated distance is 14,500 miles within 11 days.

As for Miami I have some business issues that are trying their best to bet in the way of that trip. I'm trying but its not looking great.

More on that later. Right now I have to hit the road to go take the national registry exam for my EMT certification.

You know what they say, "the proof is in the pudding". Lets see if the phat lady and I finish before you start spreading rumors about me hardcoreness...LOL

In the history of the Iron Butt Rally less than 200 people have actually completed the ride. It is a true test of a persons mental and physical endurance.

Just about everybody I tell about the event asks me "what do you get/win for doing this" to which I reply "when you finish the rally you already have what you came for". For each rider it is a very personal experience. Most of the riders go it solo, only crossing paths with other riders at a checkpoint.

In 1999 a couple got married and made the "BUTT" their 11 day circum-navigation of the US a rolling honeymoon. A sign on the back said what else but "Just Married".

At the end (yes they finished) they changed the "Just" to "Still". All this on a Ducati ST. I do not know how they did it.

We already know a large bonus point located between Yakima, Washington and Buxton, Maine is in a town known as Hyder, Alaska. Yes I know it really isn't between but thats when we will have to go for it. The rally masters have a really twisted sense of humor.

I'm at Bram's house now catching up on some last minute training before the seminar next week.

We have a great hotel rate at the Saxony Hotel in Miami Beach. Tell them you are with the "Karate Group" for a special rate.

First day of the seminar and things are going great! You learn some things about the Gunting that just never cross your mind until you see the application!

Very cool! Not to mention painful. Oh and did I also say it could hurt too?
