I'm going to ride up with another maker this Sunday and check it out. Never been before and am looking forward to seeing some folks again and for the first time.
 
I'll be there Mark. Look forward to meeting you and everybody else that's coming. :D I think I'm looking more forward to meeting you guys then actually selling anything. :D Selling some knives would be a plus. I hope everyone has a great show. There's the Sat. nite hospitality, meet and greet also. I think that's at 7:00 pm. I've been looking forward to this show all year.

Hi, I'm Dave Stifle, a part time knife maker from Arlington, Virginia, and avid buyer of much better work than I produce. I'm looking forward to the show too, and I understand J & Tess Neilson and Dan (I think that's his first name) Casteel will be there. He's the fellow who made the Darth Vader Black Bowie that was recently posted.

FYI. The sat night is for table holders and VIP ticket holders only.

I'll be there, driving down with another maker, Stephen Olszewski. Will probally head over to the hospitality room sat night an bring a few knives for show and tell.

Yep, me, Tess & Danny will be there. Just look for the coon tail hanging off the car antenna (long story). I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. This is one of my favorite shows. This will be our first time going to the VIP thing. See ya there.

Just kidding. I wish I were going but I'll be headed to Columbia, SC and making 3 sheaths Sunday. Still a pretty damn good weekend if you ask me.....

Damn Mark, we could be brothers :eek: My beard is getting about as long as my wife can stand. She comes after me with the scissors and says sit down so I can civilize you. :D I'll be the one with a big beard, not completely gray yet, glasses and a hat. If you don't come Sat.nite, deer hide and wild boar skull on my table. That'll be me. Gotta love them hogs, real attitude problem :D

It's also a good thing my wife isnt coming to the show with me or she would be after that skull Scott. we have a running joke in our relationship. For Valentines day , She gets skulls and other animal pieces/parts and I get cooking equipment.

Starnge , but we like it that way :p

That's funny, the person who gave me my very first custom order, which became a very good friend, has a wife who collects skulls, too. Now I can tell her she's not the only one and she can feel a bit better. She shinks she's weird, I encourage her as often as I can. Gave her a goose skull last time. :D
 
Jeez Mark, give me a break. :p I'm taking the picture right now, I just have to bandage my knuckle first. Every step of this thing was a challenge...even cleaning/waxing it. :D
 
I've had alot of people ask me "how much for the skull?" when I set up at gunshows. Not for sale I say, I should put a display only sign on it :D There are alot of people who collect skulls. I got this one from a taxidermist for 25 bucks. One of these days I want to hunt hogs. Can't seem to find the time or money :grumpy: I watched the weather channel and Sat. and Sun. sunny in the fifties. It won't be below 38 degrees at nite. We should be fine. I live about 40 minutes north of Timonium.
