Hi all,

I'm giving one of the khuks I inherited from Walosi to my GF's son, who is graduating tomorrow. He's an Army reservist and is more than likely going to deploy before the end of the year to Afghanistan (rumors... but good ones).

I want send this khuk with him, but want a more Molle pack-friendly sheath to go with it.

Is anyone making kydex sheaths these days?

Thanks!

Alan

I don't know about ready-made, but this site shows up on just about every kukri search, and shows how to make one yourself.

There are several folks here on the forums who can make you one.
I had Leatherface do one for a buddy of mine who was deploying with his reserve unit. It turned out quite well, and he is a blast to work with.
Here's his homepage: http://www.azraelslcustomleather.com/

Oops! That link's broken. Try this one: http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~mghattas/azrael/test1.html

OK, here is the correct link direct to his homepage: (the link in his profile is wrong-there's an extra "l" in there.) http://www.azraelscustomleather.com/

I have been drooling over Mr Leatherface's work for some time. I see that on his site he does make Kydex as well as his renowned leather sheaves.

I believe other HI/Cantina stalwart Ferguson have had him make leather sheaves for his YCS Karda's. That is enough of a recommendation for me!

Thanks Mac. I just got back from Montana and the graduation ceremony. I gave him a choice of two and he picked a Kumar made Sirupati with bone/horn handle. A real nice one too. I'll jump over and check out Leatherface's site. I knew there was someone here that was making them.

Thanks all!

Alan
