My birthday card from last year (42) said there were lots of things older than me... rocks, redwood trees...

Esav may be older. I remember reading somewhere the when Washington threw a dollar across the Potomac, Esav dived in to retrieve it.
 
I'll be 45 in a few hours. I bet I feel older than you though!

Actually, I made my first one from a cross-cut sawblade in high school. Left in the glove box of my Pontiac & when I returned from the war 3 years,I almost severed my pinkie when I went rummaging around ,trying to find matches. Danged good steel. A machete would have been great too .
