I really dislike Twitter, I used to be a fan of Facebook, but it just got ridiculous.

I follow the "who cares what you do every second of your life?" mentality.

I'm on Face Book and MySpace but have not even looked into Twitter. I rather like Face Book personally because being so far from home and family it has allowed me to keep up with folks I'd otherwise have lost touch with including brothers and sisters. We actually chat there more than on the phone or in emails. I also like the fact that it gave me yet another place to store pictures of my folders so I can have more than one back up. I used to think the discs would be all I'd ever need until I opened an old disc book and found three broken ones losing all that was on them forever. Now I load pics where ever anyone lets me.

i tried twitter, but it just seemed really pointless and like facebook without accual friends,IMO...

No twitter, facebook, or myspace for me. About the only one I might consider is Linkedin (sp?) because that seems more like a professional networking type site. Something that could be important for someone in the IT biz.

@bass_singer, IIRC, if not then @bass_singerMartin. Mainly use it to keep up with semi-local news. Even that seems redundant. But it is easier to read the news blurb through twitter on my i-Phone than negotiate everyones web-site.

TWIT.....A British slang word for an insignificant, foolish or annoying person.

Need I say more? :D

myspace was tatty and I bailed. Facebook because family and friends have been scattered to the four points of the compass. I have found it to become increasingly annoying.

I like to use Twitter for info to be sent to me. For example, I get plenty of NFL news on the teams I want to follow sent to my cell phone, also weather and news. These tweets keep me up to date.

Twitter, myspace, facebook, they all suck! Just stick with your fellow knife knuts on bladeforums.

At the time Facebook was great for "getting in touch with family and old friends" after Christmas I am reconsidering that wisdom. There was good reason to let them vanish in the first place.

Neither nor. Too "gimmicky".
