I receieved one of there custom made folders and was wondering if anyone knew who this was? Thanks Ash

Ross Mitsuyuki is the maker. Lives in Honolulu. He's a part time maker that makes both straight knives and folders. His mark is his name over a sea turtle with hawaii under neath it. Qaulity knives but not a lot of his work out there.

Someone gifted me one and I'd like to speak to him about it. Do you know anyway to get in touch with him?

I believe he is the fella listed here as in Waipahu.

This fella seems to have a collection of his knives. Perhaps he knows? Ted's Knife Collection >> Ross Mitsuyuki

This gal has him listed on her site. http://www.arizonacustomknives.com/artists/?artist=753

I'm not sure, but think I may have met him with Stanley Fujisaka at a gun show a few years ago. As I understand it, Stan has taught or positively influenced several knife makers in Hawaii. Perhaps Stan might know how to get a hold of him?

Good luck!

Ah-ha, he is a Blade Forums member: rkm. Looks like he hasn't been on in a couple of years, but a PM or email might get through to him though.

Don't know if it'll help, but I believe Ross is listed in the makers directory in the back of the 'Knives' annual. Ross is one of the good guys, and if you have one of his folders, I could see why you might want another one.

Good luck with the search, Craig

I've gotten to talk with Ross and this is his knife. Handles are Orange G-10, blade is ATS 34 Liners, thumbstuds, and pocket clip are titanium. He also did the drawing and engaving of centipede. It was made in 1998. Awesome folder and it was a "gift" added to a trade from a friend.
