Sorry it is so blurry but I shake like the dickens so close ups like this are hard for me and I didn't feel like dragging out the tripod for this one little shot.

Can someone tell me which Kami this one is? I couldn't find it in my little PDF.

Drum... OK! I thought a Beer Mug was unlikely but I was just guessing anyway. :o

No disrespect intended.

Don't worry it's not the first time its been called that.
H.I. used to have Amtrack the Railroad Kami because his initials were R.R., back in the days when khuks were marked with english lettering. So why not a Rootbeer or Beermug Kami ;) :D

I think a coffee mug Kami would suit me just right. :D

I asked what it was too when I got my first khukri not to long ago.
Didn't think a beer mug like that would be well known in Nepal.

The madal is actually held horizontally (photo shows it vertically) with the two ends sideways, what looks like the mug-handle is actually the string that goes around the neck ... here's what the madal looks & sounds like:

Also, the Devanagiri script above the madal says "she" "ba" for Sher Bahadur, I'm guessing

btw, I recently picked up an M43 made by Amtrack/RR Kami - really neat khukuri!
