Hello friends,
I know I'm not around much anymore--work has sharply cut into my foruming (and everything else) time. I still lurk a tad, but am very much out of the loop. I've been in the process of reducing my knife collection from the level of horrifically obscene down to merely profane, and the time has come to let some of the Busse-world blades back into the market, around a dozen or so. There are Busses, Rats, and a Dog or two. No, I'm not abandoning the fold--sadly, removing a dozen knives from my Busse collection barely puts a dent into it.
What I need help with, though, is remembering what all these things are called--not just is the thing a Battle Mistress but is it a FFNMSAMOBM or what. I used to know ALL that stuff but I've lost it; I was in my mid-late twenties when I acquired most of them, and am closer to forty now than thirty. Putting up a sale thread entitled, "Some random-ass Wauseon Blades, figure it out for yourself" probably wouldn't get much business, and it also makes it hard for me to do any pricing research for them. At the same time, though, posting them up in the manufacturers area here for all to see would likely (and fairly) be looked on as breaking the rules, priming the pump for a sale thread, etc. So, I need whoever the DIE-HARD guru is who might be willing to identify them for me if I sent him or her a picture or two. Remember--pig whispering by itself isn't enough, I need somebody who knows the rodents and pups too.
