I’m soooo sorry - I have been fighting to try & attach pics without success so I’m trying to figure out a work around - crossed fingers I’ll sort it soon!

As a registered user, you can post pictures using a picture hosting site. Once you have uploaded a picture to the hosting site, copy the web address of the picture. Note: picture web addresses must end in .jpg or .gif

Then go to your post and click the image tool on the toolbar next to the smiley tool. Click the link icon in the popup. (Looks like a chain.) Paste the picture address into the window. Then click the INSERT button.

This thread may help you with posting pictures more.

Thank you sooo much all - have done a horrible workaround to make 2 pics visible - on my old website have added the 2 pics to the (please disregard the fluff beforehand! :)) bottom of the page. My friend was a big Case Seahorse collector from Oklahoma who also had some (presumably USA made) custom knives by this maker. Initially his widow thought the tang stamp was PB but this one certainly looks more like FB.
link is here: Bottom of page
To whoever moderates here please forgive me for doing it this way & thanks to all in advance for any help I can pass onto her :)
PS have attempted Imgur without success - it seems it doesn’t like people from the South Pacific :-(

I would say the Maker is also from the South Pacific, IMHO, because of style and material….?

The plot thickens Dawkind - hmmmm it makes me wonder then if it might be Hawaiian - I doubt it’s from this far south (New Zealand) but admit I have very little cutlery knowledge.

Well hullo Russ - the places one meets! ;-) I suspect you have guessed already whose collection this was in - it’s just trying to help out Ain’t Donna (& she’s already got Elvis on her team with the Case ones :-)) - apparently Uncle Jim had 4 or 5 knives by this same maker but we’re still yet to identify exactly who it was/is
