Who do you think is truly king of the flippers ?
Feel free to post multiple ppl and your experience with their work if any.
Few names that might be mentioned Todd beggs, rj Martin, pohan leu, Larry chew, Phil

For me it would have to be Brian Tighe. Don't own one yet but have handled many and the fit and finish and overall quality is on par with any other custom I've handled and I just love his designs. The Breaker is one of my grails.

David Mosier makes the nicest flippers I've handled, although I'll admit to never found a RJ Martin or Tighe. Please feel free to send me yours so I can compare. :)

RJ Martin is at the top for me. For my money, there is no better flipper made.

Phil Boguszewski
Les Voorhies
Tim Galyean

Elijah Wood is the master of flipper, duh.

A bearing pivot definitely helps to make the flipper action glassy smooth, but in the absence of that, blade shape & weight distribution play a huge part in making the design stand on its own. Detent pressure to aid in deployment and retention, and incorporation of the flipper into the design when opened or closed, are also some factors to consider.
