Does anyone know of a custom maker or production knife company that uses 6150 routinely?

I'm very familiar with 5160, but 6150 is new to me. I'd like to know as much about it as possible, and my googlefoo doesn't seem up to the task of finding many examples of it being used

Maybe it's a dyslexic version of 5160? Seriously, I have never heard of 6150.
Anyone?

6150 is a medium carbon spring steel; very similar to 5160. Difference is, 6150 has a teeny bit less Carbon and also contains a little Vanadium.

I know of one fellow on here who seems to use it, but I'm not mentioning his name and giving him more free advertising until he gets himself a paid account.

BePrepared, I was going to post the same question: I bought several bars of 6150 on Ebay last week (I'm guessing you got the rest :p). 6150 is listed as a "premium" spring steel, apparently used as an upgrade to 5160 for heavy truck springs.

I know Jody Samson uses it for his swords, but I've never seen anyone else talk about it -- especially heat treat protocols. Nick?

By the specs it should be a very decent steel. It just isn't widely used. :)
