Absolutely. He and Ken are my faves...but I think Ken is more traditional...which is why he got my vote.

(The fact that they are both good friends may prejudice my opinion just a wee bit.)

I've really taken a liking to John Lloyd's work. He produces a variety of patterns in a nice mix of materials and the quality ranges from good to excellent in my experience. I've had about a dozen and I've never found an issue.

This gunstock and barlow are two of my favorites.

I like that Nick Timpson of Birdvis Knives does some unique patterns and if you like micarta he has it. Here is a Hitchcock and a Harper. My favorite traditional knife at the moment is a Charlie Bell I finally pulled the trigger on.

In terms of the knives though, of the customs I have, I think the knife, which is most perfectly made is this Sheepsfoot by Todd Davison. It also means a lot, as it was a gift from my friend Old & In The Way
