who is your go to sharpening ening and upgrade service? thanks to all who replied and the moderator

REK, REK, and then probably Josh at REK. Never steered me wrong and I've sent him plenty of my screwups to fix. They all come back beautiful.
 
I sharpen so I got that covered but I too have used Josh for knife mods and he is a true Craftsman.
 
I have used Jason B. on a number of occasions from routine sharpening to re-profiling. Great work, easy and straightforward to deal with and reasonable prices. No reservations about recommending him.
 
I sharpen my own mostly but ... I've recently been slowly upgrading my sharpening stones (long overdo) ... and life has kept me busy so ...

I have used Jason B on a couple occasions to thin out a thick blade behind the edge and convex the edge slightly and he free hands using the stones I have been upgrading to (partial on his recommendations) ... and Jason B. does excellent work ... I was very pleased with his work ... very even grinds and a nice polished much improved edge ... I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I have also had Josh @ REK do a special rush job on a very special Christmas gift for my nephew from my ill father ... and he was excellent to work with and he held true to his word and had the knife back in time on short notice ... so another I would highly recommend.
