An authorized EKI dealer on ebay is taking pre-orders for the new A-100 which according to the Emerson ad line is the "godfather" of all tacticals he has created. Looks like a 7a but a bit longer and a bit narrower maybe with a straight handle and g10. The vendor is taking pre orders with shipping supposedly due in March. So whats the deal anyone heard.

Looks nice to me and if I wasn't going to all frame locks on my folders I just might be tempted to pick one up. Keepem sharp

Hope it's not discontinued already! Sorry. That was low.

:D i wouldnt be surprised the way things have been going of late

seriously though, The A100s do look good, its seems to be a sort of production Viper from what i can tell from the pics.
As far as i know they will be available in late March/ early April. but i probably wouldnt hold my breath, when they actually hit the streets i can see the price coming down a bit as well so il probably hang on till then.

On Emerson's Website he also has a new knife called the Bushman that looks very interesting.

The A100 is going to be next Emerson. I just got the catalog last week. 3.6" blade, 4.8" handle.

they are coming out pretty soon, march sounds right, they cant be disco'd they havent been intro'd yet lol, they are a production viper which is one of the early tactical folders ernie made, & still makes, i like the handle on 'em, i have never ever even handled a viper but i do have a I&I tanto which has the same handle w/a 3.75" tanto blade, and i like the handle, it should be a good one.

the bushman and horseman are also listed with price.

but they are all backordered already!

Looks like a cool knife, but no more liner locking knives for me. I hope he makes a few more models with the frame lock. Just have too many problems with the liners.

Thanks for the ifo. but I have to tell ya. I am done with the Emerson thing. Always it seems backordered, same old steel, s.s. liner lock which I frankly don't understand cause no one else seems to be having a problem with obtaining the titanium for the frames. Anyways nough said. keepem sharp
