Who knows old German knives?

I got this knife from my old man and he received it as a kid. It's made in Germany by a maker that starts with a P. if anyone could shine some light on this knife that'd be awesome!!
It's about a 6" long with what appears to be an ivory or shell handle with a curved blade and it has a casted cowboys head on the end of the handle.
 
Welcome--I recommend you post this question (with pictures!) in the Bernard Levine knife ID sub forum. There are loads of folks there that can help you identify the knife, the maker, when manufactured etc. Good luck.

But you should read the link I gave and follow the instructions on how to word your question clearly as well as how to post pictures.
 
Yep, second Levine's subforum, if he doesn't know it there's a poster there named Germania who probably will... if you post pictures.
