Who knows the difference between diamond blade and saw blade

Recently my boss need to buy some blade for wood cutting. I saw there are a wide variety of diamond blades. But I don't know how to choose. I will really appreciate it if anyone could give me some suggestion.

The Adamant website explains it enough .Diamond for stone or ceramics .Carbide for metals and composites such as Corian and even plywood for longer blade life.
