who likes seahorses???

On the advice of a friend, I ordered an orange g-10 case seahorse whittler. MAN, it's a cool knife.

I love the handle shape and how the blade sits at such an angle as to make it a wicked cutter.

I will have some fun with this and let you know.

Anyone else like them??

I quite like the design, and have a few myself. Case did a good job on them.
 
I have the exact same Case in Orange G10...love it.

Got similar design from Bulldog Brand in Ivory...not as sharp as the Case tho.
 
My generous co-moderator made me a gift of the Case Classic (carbon steel) version of this whittler a year or two back. Wonderful gift from a great friend. :thumbup:

Since you have three of those smelly old horses, 4ever3, how about selling one??:D
I cut these from the herd, not all that common themselves!
A Case Select with Bermuda greenbone, a limited production with Spiny Oyster handles, and a modern Case Brothers in ATS-34 steel!

I dont really like this pattern all that much, but the Case brothers looks SWEET waynorth.

Those are three way good ones waynorth ! Can't part with the Forum Seahorse though, so did you already sell the Spiney or is it still for sale ?
 
I almost bought a stag seahorse Friday, but instead got another stockman. Maybe next paycheck.

I really like this pattern too! have a case Seahorse in my EDC rotation and a small Bulldog stag. Its not the most practical, with the shape and the short blade to handle ratio, but it sure looks cool. Get lots of comments as to the shape of the blade. One of my fave patterns.
