There is no KA-BAR factory so there cannot be any factory tours. The big blue building with the big KA-BAR sign is just offices and warehouse and shipping. KA-BAR is basically a marketing firm, their American made fixed blades are made by Cutco of which KA-BAR is a division of. The Cutco visitors center does have a small collection of older KA-BARs, Alcas, and the Case knives that were made by Cutco. Pitiful collection actually. (no disrespect intended Joe) The best local museum is the American Cutlery Museum in Cattaraugus but it is pretty small and they do have some amazing Cattaraugus knives on display as well as some other knives. It is a great area for cutlery history though, with Case in Bradford a short distance SW and Little Valley, Springville, and Cattaraugus a short distance to the NW.
