Who locked this thread???

Thank you, is there any explanation as to how and or why it was locked and who did it?
 
Maybe not, but do you subscribe to threads individually? If so, is it possible you accidentally hit the lock button? If it happens again, try to unlock it yourself. If it doesn't work, then :confused:

No, the thread was started by me, so I had no need to subscribe. I KNOW I didn't lock it, because I've locked my own threads in the past and know what it takes to do it.

This is the second time it's happened. The first time (a different thread) it was locked, then unlocked later. I had no idea why or who did either. No expaination was given in either case.
 
Somebody is pickin on you Dave. Just kidding but that is so strange.
Some sort of glitch I guess.
 
Well, I don't know, but I'm platinum, and I can't gp around indiscrominately lpcking threads, so it would have to have been a mod. Kinda makes you wonder.
 
I wonder if somebody thought it was promoting Flatlander's work too much?

I don't see that it violated any rules, though.

There are lots of threads like that and they're good information as far as I'm concerned.

Well I'm not in the business so I can't see how it's promoting.
The only way to get one of my knives is if I decide to give it you.
If someone thought what BG42 is suggesting I'd assume he'd follow up with a email to Dave. A mystery.

It's in direct violation of the "deal spotting" rules.:confused:

Because "they" was a different person? I mean, maybe it had to do with whose stuff was being promoted and they also may have mistakenly believed Flat was in business for profit?

I'm not saying it WAS for that reason.....it was just the only possibility I could think of.

i think it was jest an error on a mods part..
or miss typing ... who knows.. it is fixed now

Dave....you've posted pictures of tooo many nice knives. It's uncalled for...and makes the rest of us jealous and green w/ envy The only way to stop it....is to lock your threads:D
 
yeah it was that evil genius Dr Strangelovebuckknives and he couldnt stand the fact that Plum has accumulated such a splendid collection and he is now taking it out though is bannana republic....Bladeforums:p
