Who loves Galyean knives?

Do you love the Tim Galyean ProSeries knives as much as I do? Now I have a Sebenza, a Strider PT, SnG and other higher end knives, but really nobody makes a better knife for the money than Tim. There is no way I could ever afford his true customs, being a lowly State employee, but these knives are so close to custom it is crazy good. Needless to say my JYD is the berries. :thumbup:I have a Lahar Pro Series coming soon as well and I am so hyped.

Any other Galyean affectionados (sp) out there????

Absolutely my man. I've said it quite a few times and I've even told Tim himself that my favorite knife, hands down, is the Junkyard Dawg. Small or Large doesn't matter to me. They fit perfectly into my hand. I love the blade whether it's the full flat grind of the Pro Series model or the high hollow grind of the Kershaw models. That wide blade is the cat's meow. The IKBS system in his Pro Series knives is amazing.

Tim makes some awesome knives. And for such a young guy I know we're going to see some really great things from him in the future. I was going to get a small Pro Series Lahar, but I ended up getting the small JYD instead. I need to be able to carry tip up. I am really hoping that the next model in the Pro Series line will be his MOAB. I'd pay for a large and small MOAB combo right now if it was possible.

Absolutely my pic for Best of 2009. Large JYD, Large Lahar and Small Lahar are perfect mid tech flippers. Great to use, great to carry and for the price are a nice change from sebbies and striders.

Tony, Tim is doing a Moab but it is not called that name. IIRC, Bosshoss has a pic on his site of the proto and the new name.

Rich, you just made my day... or night... or whatever. That is fantastic news. I'll be happily waiting for this one to be produced. Hopefully it will be offered with tip up/tip down capability. Happy day! Do you have a link to that picture? This is all I found on the intraweb. By the hammer of Thor!! If this is what the next offering is going to be then I'm down for two!
